Do you test your products on animals? Are they cruelty-free?
At Fitcover we do not test on animals. All of our makeup and topical skincare products are also free of ingredients derived from animals making them 100% cruelty-free.
However, our Pump-It-Up Collagen powdered oral supplement has been ethically sourced from high-quality, well-treated bovine cattle. We would love to provide you with vegan collagen but plant sources are very limited and extremely costly to extract.
Do you use any dangerous chemicals in your products?
All of our products are free from any nasty chemicals and known-irritants. We take the health of your skin very seriously.
Did you realise that our flagship product, the Active Mineral Powder Foundation was initially developed to be safe and sweat-proof during exercise? It’s even been formulated to nourish irritated, sensitive acne-prone skin that was previously being aggravated by other makeup products during training.
We know what fitness-addicts want AND need and all of our products are developed with the same skin-loving goals in mind.
Do Fitcover products contain sulphates or parabens?
Although some sulphates/sulfates or parabens are safe to use within the recommended amount and are cheaper, we decided not to use them.
Is it safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?
All of our products are free from additives that are known to be dangerous to humans with different health conditions, but we do recommend checking with your physician before starting any new products during pregnancy.

Is your Mica and other minerals in the foundation ethically sourced?
Yes, all of the ingredients we use, including Mica are ethically sourced! We partner with a manufacturer that is well-known for its expertise in making award-winning powder foundations to produce our Active Mineral Powder Foundation. This manufacturer sources high-quality Mica (and other minerals) that are cruelty-free, respecting our preference/branding.
We appreciate that you care as much as we do about human rights and that the Cruelty-Free label extends to animals and humans alike.
We also extend our support to the governments of countries supplying Mica in implementing measures to avoid abuses while not cutting the source of livelihood of the workers.

We all vary so much from base-tone to the way we tan, how we use tanning products etc, and we can also have different expectations about how the foundation should look on our skin.
In saying this it is challenging to be 100% certain what shade you are through computer screens, so we have added a widget 'What's my shade?' on our product page. We'll match the foundation you are currently using to find your match in our Mineral Foundation. And to ensure a perfect match, we recommend that you order the Active Mineral Powder Foundation - Samples that contain your preferred shade, a shade lighter and a shade darker so that you can test it at home.

I'm a regular Fitcover Active Mineral Powder Foundation customer and my most recent order looks darker/lighter this time compared to my old powder. Why is this so?
Don’t stress, because we use natural ingredients and mineral oxides that are mined from different locations there can sometimes be minor visual colour and texture differences from batch to batch. While we try to keep these variations to a minimum we can’t completely eliminate them. We do however promise that once applied to your skin you’ll glow just like usual and won’t notice a difference.
I can’t get my Active Mineral Powder to go on evenly. Can you help?
Any kind of pigmented makeup can settle into skin imperfections like dry skin and irritated areas if the skin isn’t prepared beforehand. We suggest using our Superfood HIIT Serum morning and night and priming with our SuperNova HIIT Spritz directly before applying your makeup for a flawless, even application. Over time, our Active Mineral Powder Foundation will also help to moisturise, repair the skin and reduce imperfections with nourishing Olive Squalane and Vitamin E.

There’s two tubes in the pack. Which tube is which?
The tubes have the product names on the sides, Collagen Mascara and Green Tea Fibres. Follow this link for a step-by-step how-to video tutorial.
What are the fibres made of?
Green tea! Ingredients list is on the side of the packaging: Green tea & Nylon. That’s it!
How do you apply the fibres?
Gently press the fibre brush onto your lashes (immediately after one coat of mascara) – they’ll stick! Seal with a second coat of mascara and repeat as many times as you like for more volume. Follow this link for a step-by-step video tutorial.
How long will a kit last?
It depends on how often you use it and how many coats you apply each time, but it should be pretty similar to your current mascara! Most likely you’ll get a few months out of it, and most beauty experts would recommend replacing after 3 months for hygiene purposes.
How do I take it off?
Our mascara is water-proof, so the best way to take it off is to wet your Fitcover Makeup Remover Sponge with warm water and hold them over your lashes for about 30 seconds, then simply wipe off the mascara 'tubes' and fibres in a downward motion. Repeat until your lashes are au naturel again!
How long does the mascara stay on?
The Lash Mass staying power is REAL. HIIT workout? Sweet. Caught in the rain? No stress. Sun-baking in a humid summer? You're fine. Emotional times? Girl, we got you. Fitcover was MADE for this.
For hygiene reasons we do recommend washing it off at the end of each day!
Can I use the fibres with other brands of mascara?
Girl, you’re welcome to try. We just can’t guarantee results. Our mascara has been made specifically to stick to and lock in these lengthening fibres and last all day.
Can I use the mascara by itself?
You sure can! For those days where a little is enough, or time is tight, there’s no obligation to use the fibres too. A quick application of mascara will still give you the extra length and volume for every-day wear.
What do I do if I get a fibre in my eye?
In most cases you should be able to pick it out straight away! If you’ve managed to get it right in there, wash out with cold water. When you go at it again, remember to add the fibres to the lengths of your lashes, avoid the base of lashes to reduce the risk!
Can I wear the lengthening mascara and fibres with glasses?
Of course! For those of you with the gorgeous issue of long lashes and/or cute little noses, we recommend curling your lashes before you start so that they point upwards rather than forwards into your glasses.
Can I wear the lengthening mascara and fibres with contact lenses?
Generally, it’s not recommended pairing the two as any kind of water-proof eye makeup products can stain contact lenses. We’re not going to disagree with the experts.

Our Shape It Till You Make it Brow Cushion Kit has been specially formulated to last longer, like every other Fitcover product, it’s been formulated to withstand the sweatiest of workouts and then stay put for the rest of the day! We’ve also made our packaging extra tight so that it doesn’t dry out like other brands.
How long does it last?
Until you take it off! …With makeup remover/micellar water or your Fitcover Makeup Remover Sponge.
Is it smudge-proof and sweat-proof/water-proof?
Tick, tick, tick! These brows ain’t moving until you tell them to.
Does it apply well to areas with scarring, eczema or dermatitis?
Each persons’ skin and level of scarring/eczema etc. varies so there’s no ‘one-size-fits-all’. Our brow cushion applies similar to ink on the skin, so you’ll find it ‘paints’ over most of these skin conditions. The severity of each individual skin condition may affect this and the time it stays on.
How do you apply it?
Just dab the applicator brush in the desired colour, and draw it on to your brows in the desired shape! Apply more/less ink/pressure to vary the intensity.
I'm more comfortable using my brow pen/pencil. What difference will it make if I try this out?
If you’ve used a pen or pencil before, the application of the cushion is not too different as it uses a fine angled brush. The bush is wider than a pen or pencil but you can use it at different angles to draw fine lines or fill in thick sections at a time. You’ll find you can get precise lines, hair-strokes and gradients using the cushion. The benefit of using the Shape It Till You Make It Brow Cushion Kit is that it takes just minutes to apply and will last all day long without smudging or fading!
I bought your brow cushion and I love it. However, I broke one of the applicators. Can I order a replacement?
At the moment we’re not stocking this separately. You can find other angled brow brush applicators from any chemist/drug store and even some supermarkets (obviously it just won’t fit in the compact)! Or, if you go ahead and order another Fitcover Shape It Till You Make It Brow Cushion Kit you can remove the brush without breaking the seal on the cushion and compromising the shelf-life.
I heard brow cushions are really high pigmented, is it easy to remove?
Not with just water, hence the sweat-proofness! But with a damp Fitcover Makeup Remover Sponge and a gentle cleanser or micellar water it comes off in a breeze 😊.
How long does it take to dry?
Only a second or two - It’s almost instant!
Will it make my brow hair grow longer?
Yes indeedy! The vitamins and essential fatty acids naturally found in coconut oil naturally nourish your skin underneath and help to remove sebum build-up from hair follicles.
Does it also work like a brow gel where it keeps your hair in place?
This is not a gel, you can brush the hairs into place with the spoolie and use a separate gel on that if you wish. Our cushion is the ink for shaping your brows.

Hey hun, because we use Almond Oil in this product we’d recommend that you don’t use this product. We know you care about your skin, so, why not try our SuperNova HIIT Spritz instead? It’s super nourishing and free from nuts.

Shelf life (unopened): kept sealed, it will have a shelf life of a few years based on the batch and expiry printed on the packaging. Once opened, use it within six months.

I have food allergies, is SuperNova HIIT Spritz allergy free?
SuperNova HIIT Spritz is free from dairy, fish, eggs, soy and gluten. We do, however, suggest doing a patch test before use.
What will be the expected results, and when should I start seeing it?
We love this question! Standard results include softer, smoother, more supple skin with more balanced moisture from the first spritz, however, individual results may vary. We also hope you feel undeniably calm and centred when you smell the fresh blend of aromatic essential oils.
Should I patch test before using my SuperNova HIIT Spritz?
While we only ever select ingredients that are not known irritants, every one of us is different so it’s a good idea to patch test the SuperNova HIIT Spritz just like you should with any new skincare product. All you need to do is apply it to the skin on the inside of the wrist and wait 24 hours to see if any irritation occurs. If you do see something out of the ordinary, then please do get in contact with us.

How do I store Pump-It-Up Collagen?
Easily. Just keep it on the shelf in the resealable bag it comes in, or in an airtight container.
Is Pump-It-Up Collagen suitable for vegetarians and vegans?
No, the product contains 100% hydrolysed collagen peptides from an animal source.
I have food allergies, is Pump-It-Up Collagen allergy free?
Pump-It-Up Collagen is free from dairy, soy and gluten. For other allergies, consult with your doctor.
Some protein powders make me feel sick, will Pump-It-Up Collagen make me feel sick too?
Collagen supplements are not made from dairy like most protein powders are so are unlikely to cause nausea. However, you should consult with your doctor if nausea is common for you.
How is it different from Marine sourced collagen?
Marine collagen is from collagen tissue of fish, including skin, bone and scale. Pump-It-Up Collagen is hydrolysed bovine collagen peptides derived from cows.
How is this different from frozen collagen?
Frozen collagen is a mixture of fish collagen and glutathione and is totally different from Pump-It-Up Collagen which is a 100% pure collagen peptides.
Is it safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?
Although pregnant women need to heighten their nutrition level, including protein intake for which Pump-It-Up Collagen is a good source, there are no available published studies being conducted to assess it’s safety during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Thus, we recommend that you consult your physician first before taking this (or any) supplement if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
When should I take Pump-It-Up Collagen?
Pump-It-Up Collagen can be taken at any time of the day. You can have it on an empty stomach with water, mixed with hot or cold foods or drinks during the day, or just before you sleep.

With any kind of product that can help the body, results will vary from person to person depending on age and lifestyle factors. I’ve seen collagen products in capsules, how is it different from Pump-It-Up Collagen?
Pump-It-Up Collagen is in powder form and has a faster absorption than collagen peptide in a capsule “aka Collagen pill”.
The capsule needs to be dissolved first before the collagen can be digested by the body, slowing the absorption rate.
What will happen if I take more than the recommended daily dose of 2.5g / 0.088oz a day?
Naturally, each person has different nutrition needs. Some studies have included doses of up to 30g per day without any recorded negative side effects. However, we recommend 2.5g / 0.088oz daily dose as a general guideline and suggest talking to your GP/Dietician if you think a different dose would work better for you.
I have a medical condition, are hydrolysed collagen peptides generally safe to take by anyone?
Currently no known information about collagen interaction with certain medical conditions is available, however, we recommend that you consult your physician first before taking this supplement.
What will happen if I stop taking it after I see results?
Collagen is a food supplement intended to supply the lacking protein in the body. So if you feel that you already supplied your body’s need, you may decide to stop. However, please note that our body’s need for protein is continuous.
Is it Australian made?
No, our collagen is sourced and processed from high-quality bovine in the Netherlands.
Is this a high-quality product?
Absolutely. We source our hydrolysed collagen peptides from the Netherlands. They’re processed under the most stringent health regulations and to the purest form with no chemical contamination. Additionally, animals are well treated and compliant with Netherland’s animal welfare policies.
There are 3 types of collagen (I, II, III) which one are we using?
Bioactive collagen peptides are derived from raw animal material that contains both type I & III collagen. Type II collagen typically comes from a marine source. We process our hydrolysed collagen peptides from a bovine source that is rich in type I & III collagen. However, once degraded to highly-absorbable peptides in our production process the type of collagen from the raw material becomes hardly detectable.

Should I use it daily?
A high quality self-tanner can last 3 days to a week. We do recommend to reapply 3-5 days to keep your skin tan.
Is it good for all skin types?
Self-tanner is good for all skin types. However, we recommend like any other cosmetics to do a skin patch test if you are known to have sensitive skin.
What is the difference between the tanning drops and the self-tan mousse?
With regards to their application: tanning drops will be added to your favourite moisturiser, serum or oil and transform it into a tanning product while tanning mousse is good to go and uses a tanning mitt to apply.
Can I use the drops on my face as well?
You can put self-tanner on your face just as you would on the rest of the body. Just make sure you do it right way (using facial moisturiser, serum or oil) and ensure skin is clean, exfoliated and dry before application
Can I use it directly on my skin?
We do recommend adding it to your favourite moisturiser, serum or oil.
Does it have SPF protection?
This product doesn’t contain sunscreen and this alone will not protect your skin against harmful sun exposure. Be aware and take measures to protect your skin.
Approximately, how many drops does 1 bottle have?
There She Glows has 30 ml which is approximately 600 drops.
Tanned & Toned Self-Tan Mousse

What is Fitcover’s Self Tan Mousse’s base colour?
It has a chocolate base.
How many times can I apply on my body out of one bottle of Fitcover Self Tan Mousse?
It depends on how much you consume per application. For instance, you consume around 2 tablespoon/30ml per application the 150ml bottle will last up to 5 times application.
What is the smell like?
It has a relaxing Aromatherapy blend smell.
Do I need to put sunblock after or before I apply it?
We recommend putting sunblock after tanning since this product alone will not protect your skin against harmful sun exposure. Be aware and take measures to protect your skin.
Can I still apply my favourite body lotion or moisturiser before tanning? Should I apply it right after I shower as well?
We do recommend for you to ensure skin is clean, exfoliated and dry before application. However, if you have dry skin please refer to number 13. We recommend to moisturise everyday after your tan has been washed off.
How long does the tan last?
This high quality self-tanner can last from 3 days, up to a week depending on your skin type, preparation, activity levels and climate.
How long before the tan develops after I apply it?
Shower 1 hour after application for a light tan, 2-4 hours for a medium tan, 6-8 hours for a dark tan. The longer you leave before showering the darker your tan will be. Leave on overnight for darkest result.
How long should I wait before I shower?
At least an hour after application for a light tan although we suggest overnight for the best results!
How can I maintain the tan to keep it beautiful?
We recommend to moisturise everyday after the residual tanning product has been washed off to lock in the goldenness.
Is it safe for those with sensitive skin?
Tanned & Toned Self-Tan Mousse does not contain skin irritating ingredients. However, we recommend like any other cosmetics to do a skin patch test if you are known to have sensitive skin.
Will this be good for dry skin?
We recommend to apply moisturiser especially to drier areas such as hands, feet, elbows and knees before application. Use only remnants of mousse on the mitt for these areas to achieve the most natural result.
Is this safe for pregnant women?
Our Tanned & Toned has an active ingredient Dihydroxyacetone which is found to be safe to use during pregnancy. It's also in mousse not in spray form to minimise the inhalation of the product. However, we recommend you to consult your physician before using the product.
